About Us

At Pilates Studio 64 each session you attend is monitored by your qualified Pilates instructor and has a program suited to your needs. Particular care is taken to ensure you are practising the Pilates method in its true form.

Studio Sessions - 'by appointment'

Your first visit will include a 1 hour Initial Assessment were your Pilates practitioner assesses your muscle activation, range of movement and flexibility. This enables you to learn basic principles, breathing and alignment and basic stabilising techniques.  Once you are confident with the basics we will work towards putting in place a program suited to your individual needs focussing on strengthening and stretching your muscles and more importantly leaving the body feeling invigorated after each session.
 
To ensure you conquer the basics of the Pilates method we recommend new clients complete a minimum of three private sessions before joining our semi-private or mat sessions.

Matwork Classes

Pilates mat exercises are an excellent way to improve strength, flexibility and balance. In a mat class your Pilates teacher will take you through a series of exercises that works all your muscle groups. To add resistance to mat exercises your teacher will incorporate resistance bands, balls, rollers, and leg weights. At a beginner level we will make sure you have good basic core strength to ensure you can safely undertake all exercises included in a mat class.

Mat-work classes run during school terms with classes available at both morning and night time slots. Classes usually run over a 10-week period.

We offer packages of 10 or 20 classes and also welcome casual bookings. To ensure you get the most out of your mat-work class only 15-20 participants can be booked for each session. Classes are extremely popular so please lodge your payment and booking well before the term starting dates as we cannot accept enrolments after the commencement of the first class. If you wish to enrol into a mat-work class for next term please contact us so we can book you in!

Booty Barre Classes
